Where creativity meets connection

Arts Based Inclusion

The arts have a unique power to spark conversation, challenge assumptions, and open hearts. When combined with inclusion, creativity becomes a tool for connection - helping people share experiences, explore identity, and see the world from different perspectives.

Workshops, watch parties, and interactive sessions give participants a safe space to reflect, express, and engage, making difficult topics like menopause, diversity, or workplace culture accessible, human, and inspiring. By engaging through art, we move beyond discussion into shared experience, creating lasting understanding and empathy.

The Pause Workshops

The Pause, a darkly funny short film by Sam Grierson, explores menopause with honesty, humour, and heart. The workshops bring the story to life through film screenings, discussion, and interactive sessions.

Participants can join Q&As with Sam, or choose from themed sessions led by expert facilitators including Liz Crutchley, Vikki Hobson, Sarah Wright, Katie Deacon, and Kate Evans. Workshops cover menopause, wellbeing, career, workplace support, coaching, hypnotherapy and sound. Tailored for corporate or community settings, each 3.5-hour workshop creates a safe, engaging space to share experiences, reflect, and feel seen, supported, and empowered.

The Programme Workshops

The Programme is the first short film from award-winning writer and director Sam Grierson, featuring a neurodivergent, non-binary character over 40 navigating a dystopian Birmingham. The story explores identity, loneliness, and the impact of Artificial Emotional Intelligence.

Workshops begin with a screening and Q&A with Sam, who brings lived experience as autistic, ADHD, and queer. Facilitated by DEIB consultant Liz Crutchley, sessions explore themes from the film - neurodiversity, identity, grief, and loneliness. Tailored for corporate or community settings, workshops run for 3.5 hours, online or in person.
